Affordable homes and social housing on a mixed development of 32 units in West Sussex. The buildings are traditionally styled using local bricks, clay tiles and render. The semi-detached houses are designed as social housing, each with two bedrooms. The detached affordable family starter homes each have three bedrooms and gardens and many are linked together by garages.
Affordable terraced houses designed for a local authority in West Sussex. The two rows of contemporary styled terraced houses are located on a steeply sloping site and face each other across tiered communal gardens which also provide pedestrian access. Each starter home has a small rear garden. The three bedrooms are on the ground floor. The kitchen and living room are on the first floor with a small terrace giving views over the communal gardens.

Design of affordable apartments on a brownfield site in Newhaven town centre. External walkways provide access to three-bedroom duplex units located on the third and fourth floors, and to one bedroom apartments on the ground and first floor. Alternative design studies were prepared for a mix of different units to explore the rental and sales potential of the site.
