In this timber frame barn conversion, a derelict cowshed was reconstructed to create a craft studio and farm office. This barn conversion project required the existing oak frame to be raised and levelled onto a new brick plinth. Many of the original oak posts and beams were repaired but others needed replacing in green oak. Kent peg roof tiles were salvaged for re-use and new rooflights and oak framed windows were added.
