A number of redundant historic buildings at Royal Earlswood have been converted into luxury apartments. Several Grade II Listed Victorian buildings at the redundant Earlswood Park hospital were renovated and converted into 120 new luxury apartments. The Great Hall, once used as a venue for patient's entertainment, was converted into a swimming pool and fitness centre for use by the residents of the new apartments.
At Southdowns Park, the regeneration of St Francis' Hospital, a redundant Victorian asylum, created more than 300 luxury apartments, town houses and cottages. The badly neglected Grade II Listed buildings were each renovated and the Italianate brickwork restored to its former splendour. The landscaped grounds were replanted to reflect the original design.
