This design of a village primary school has south-facing classrooms with north-facing clerestory glazing. The classrooms are organised along an internal street which separates the teaching spaces from the wet areas. Rooflights along the street maximise natural daylighting. The school hall has adjoining kitchen facilities and the staff rooms are situated to overlook two small courtyards that provide play areas for the smaller children.
