The design of safari lodges in the forest at Marula, in the Musi-Oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia formed part of a new wildlife safari centre close to Victoria Falls.
The smaller private lodges were planned around a larger central lodge that included kitchens, bar and restaurant.
Planning conditions required by Livingstone District Council were met by using locally sourced materials including timber, stone and reed thatch, ensuring the design remained in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
