This timber framed barn conversion was once a derelict cowshed. Following extensive restoration and conversion, it now serves as a farm office and craft studio. The existing oak frame was raised and levelled onto a new brick plinth. Some of the original oak posts and beams were repaired while others needed replacing in green oak. Many of the Kent peg roof tiles were salvaged for re-use and insulation was added to the roof, walls and floor.
